RENTALS

Rental's come in several options. However there are rules regarding rentals in sim.

  • Keep OOC chat out of chat range of role-players.

  • No exterior decoration is permitted. (Unobtrusive signs on the side of buildings, patio furniture  are permitted, things that interfere with the sim silhouette (Skyline) or interfere with sidewalk (or pathway) or road access must not be rezzed, vehicles of the time period are fine provided they are parked sensibly) Admin will return objects that break these rules!

  • You may furnish your interior however you wish, however do remember that modern technologies will NOT counter our technology rules, modern communication devices are decorative only within your home. Old style telephones are the only communications prop that will be honoured. 

  •  Sculpties, 2D character Cutouts (non mesh NPC's), and Animated Pets may not be rezzed.

  • Lightsources must be unobtrusive.

  • You may use your land impact allowance to rez vehicles, though these vehicle's must be no later a model than 1960.

  • Extra Land Impact allowance is available for purchase.

  • Businesses have a land impact and therefore this land impact must be rented as well at the flat sim rate.

  • Objects for rentals that fall behind will be returned.

  • If you do not have a rental then objects you have put out will be returned if you are not present on sim.

  • No security orbs or other scripted ejection devices will be permitted. Its always inevitable someone will accidentally trigger one.

  • If someone OOC intrudes on your property without consent then it Admin can deal with it.

  • There are no refunds.

DONATIONS AND RENTALS TRANSPARENCY

We do not operate a pay to play sim, any donations made are considered charitable donations and go into funding the sim. There is no reward in IC or OOC positions for donating to help us with upkeep of the sim.

  • You can not buy your way into staff or admins status

  • You can not pay for character bonuses.

  • You can only "Rent" Land Impact allowance for a limited amount of time. This is done via the rental boxes.

  • Foggy Hills is not obligated in anyway to those who make donations.
