OUTING ONESELF AS SUPERNATURAL

Supernatural characters have to be extremely careful not to out themselves to human beings for the following reasons.

• Humans who find out a character is supernatural may always enact the diminished responsibility clause against a supernatural being.

• Supernatural characters may always enact the self defense clause if a human is trying to kill them.

• Supernatural characters who out themselves to humans may be destroyed by their own kind who will use the self defense clause. Although this defense is of the entire species.

• There will of course be humans who can be trusted and groomed to be allies of a particular supernatural group, but as a rule this takes time. A vampire who likes to show off to humans without taking measures to keep the existence of vampires secret, is going to end up being killed by other vampires if he has not contained the exposure to a character who can be trusted. The same is true of Daemons, Werewolves and Faeryn.

• Do note: A supernatural creature can not expose themselves to a human to justify killing the human. Human beings are registered citizens of Foggy Hills, their disappearance will be investigated by the human police force. Supernatural characters under police investigation will become increasingly unplayable as they have no I.D, and are likely to end up locked up or gunned down.

• As a rule of thumb, we just ask you to be sensible and responsible in character. Imagine you have a secret that can get you killed. You would only tell that secret to people you could trust, or people you could keep silent.
