Q:  Do all survivors of the werebeast attack turn into a werebeast?

A:  No, it has to be a bite or a scratch that deeply marks the bone. Any wounds that do not pierce the bone only cause fewer for a week.

Q:  Does silver actually burn werebeasts?

A:  Yes, even just holding anything silver will give them a burn. It's not severe enough to do actual damage but no werebeast wants to hold on it for too long.

Q:  When scarred, do you turn into same type of werebeast as the one who scarred you?

A:  Yes, a human that been scarred by werebeast, if deep enough, will turn into same type of werebeast. Meaning a bite or a scratch from a werewolf can't turn anyone into say werecat.

Q:  Do all shifter kids also turn out to be shifters?

A:  No, there is a chance for the child to be human, especially if one of the parents is human. When both parents are shifters, it's rare for the kid to be fully human offspring but it does sometimes happen, however the curse can "Skip a generation" in some cases.

Q: How do Shifters feel about passing on the curse?

A: There is a divide in the were world about the ethics of passing on the curse. Some have sworn never to sire a child. Others believe "If everyone is cursed then nobody is cursed"  and have made it their goal to populate the world with shifters either by attacks or by forced breeding, even going so far as abduct or ambush women who wander into  the wilds for this purpose, while others prefer a more subtle approach, hiding their condition and sabotaging any birth control options.

Q:  Is there a cure?

A:  No, nothing have been found to cure the werebeast condition. However this is unknown by the scarred ones that never been brought to a fold. So it is common for the scarred ones that stay solitary to believe that if they kill one who turned them then it will end the curse, which is simply false as some of them find out the hard way.

Q:  Are all wendigo malicious?

A:  Sort of. The vast majority certainly is but even those that try to stave off the hunger for as long as they can, still always break and eat human flesh. Which in itself hard to sell to be a good guy to a person that you are devouring.

Q:  Can a wendigo live a semi normal life?

A:  While most wendigo eventually embrace their nature and live a full life of a monster in wilderness, some do try to live as humans, having jobs and friends, but that always results in tragedy in the end.

Q:  Do wendigo turn through the bite as other shifters?

A:  Yes and no. It is true that to become wendigo one must only consume human flesh while in certain lands, yet it is possible to be turned by one as well. This however is more complicated process, not only wendigo must scar the person but also the scarred one must eat human flesh to complete their transformation. Those that refuse most often end up as a next meal of the wendigo

Q:  Can wendigo reproduce?

A:  No, they are actually infertile.

Q:  What happens to were beast who is killed in beast form?

A:  Wearbeasts, like daemons always revert to human form upon death.
