Q: Is Vampire bite painful?

A: The first time the fangs part the flesh there is pain, but this soon turns to euphoria if one does not struggle against it. The euphoria is not on par with an orgasm though.

Q: So can Vampires have sex?

A: Of course they can, but there is never any child made from the union, all vampires are infertile and all orgasms are "Dry" with no ejaculate or discharge.

Q: Does Vampire blood hold healing properties?

A: Yes, vampires may close wounds with their blood. The amount of blood needed depends on the severity of the wound. This also only works on living beings, while undead need to ingest the blood to heal.

Q: Does a victim of the bite forget about being bitten?

A: No, the bite is not forgotten unless Vampire have Mesmerized the victim to forget it and cover up the wound. However, this power is exclusively possessed by Lilithian Vampires only.

While undead don't need to feed more than once a week, or when they need to speed up their healing process, the act of feeding is a serious deal. Most often it is a hunt, where undead stalks the victim or preys on their enemies, because for most undead, this means the victim must die to preserve secrecy.

All this is one of the many reasons why Cabals are formed, to have someone with right skills who may make victim forget what happened after feeding or to use Ghouls to get rid of the body as they eat it down to the bone.

Q: Are Vampires possessed by evil spirits?

A: No, despite some old beliefs, undead are themselves, which also what makes them so dangerous and tragic. When a person is turned into undead, their body dies but soul stays. They then have to grapple with a fact that they have to prey on people, every undead will once in a while kill someone during feeding. These acts of assault and murder stay with a person, shapes and changes them.

Q: May Vampire simply feed of blood bags and animals?

A: For a time, yes, but this will never be enough and eventually every undead needs blood of a human. Some may resist it for a month, some maybe even longer, but it will happen. Feeding is part of the vampire mythology, it is the first thing most people think of when thinking of vampires. Vampires desire and thirst for blood and can be distracted by huge amounts of it. Feeding should always be on a vampires mind, though they can feed off screen. Non human blood is horrible no matter what it comes from.

Q: Do vampires need to ask to be invited into places , sleep in coffins, be turned away by holy images?

A: No. However a lot of vampires believe they do, especially the younger ones who have been influenced by Hollywood. It is up to the vampire to decide if they wish to play out these additional weaknesses as psychological nuances to the their character. Maybe they will discover in roleplay these things don't affect them.

Q: What about Garlic?

A: Garlic has no effect on vampires. However humans who consume it have less coagulated blood as garlic is a blood thinner. A vampire drinking this blood finds the blood less fuller, less rich tasting and very bland compared to regular blood. It has no affect on them other than that. Garlic user blood is like a T.V or microwaved dinner, while non garlic user blood is more like a five star restaurant meal.

Q: Do vampire's have any sorts of servants?

A: Yes, those are called familiars. These are trusted humans, that will preserve the Secrecy. The universal punishment for a familiar breaking the law is death, while some Regents also punish the undead who was responsible for the familiar.

When feeding on the familiar, the vampires need to be careful, often not feeding from them directly, but instead making a cut and drinking blood from there or even pouring it into a something.

Q: What do familiars get out of it?

A: Some love the thrill, some feel like part of something greater, getting a window into an unknown. Most however also receive vampires blood, which is like a drug, makes them heal faster, and gives +1 to Strength for a month.

Q: Do Ghuls have familiars?

A: They can but unlike other vampires, ghuls can't really feed from familiars because they eat flesh.

Q: May Ghuls eat the dead?

A: Yes, with ever spreading graveyards, the dead became ghuls main cuisine. Yet as other vampires, they do crave the flesh of the living.

Q: Is there a larger undead organization?

A: In a way. While there is no organization that has it's grips on entire world, some undead have created Cabals so powerful that they expanded beyond reaches of a single city.

One of such organizations is Magistrate. A powerful cabal that takes it upon itself to police the Secrecy and other pressing matters when it's needed. It's not often that Magistrate sends their powerful agents into other Dominions but they do have spies and agents into many corners of the world. When the Magistrate arrives however, the way they are met depends on the Dominion they enter. Some want them gone, some see it as intrusion, while others recognize that cooperation will be fastest way to get them out. Undead are territorial creatures, feudal in nature, and therefore they like to keep their affairs to their own circles.

Q: Can Vampires turn Witches (Cambions), Daemons, Faeryn, Were-creatures into vampire hybrids?

A: Nope! There is zero cross template characters allowed. Daemons return to spirit form, Faeryn biology is incompatible as is were-creature biology and such creatures simply die.  Cambion Witches lose their powers and all associated passives should they be turned into vampires. You also end up with angry covens hunting the former Cambion and the vampire who turned them for eternity.

Q: Can the undead hold jobs or be famous?

A: Yes and No. Undead always cut ties with their friends and families upon death. Some jobs become impossible for them. You will not see undead holding municipal position like being a cop, firefighter, a mayor, or even working as a doctor. They can however own businesses, bars, clubs, stores, etc. Something that does not require them to be out at day time. Sometimes they are deep into corporations and their names have some fame in the sphere of work but they stay in the back while using mortals as their front men.
